What is Community Access TV?

Community Access TV or Public Access TV is is a forum for citizens to produce and broadcast their own programming. Unlike Public Television, the community decides what is broadcast. Members my share their thoughts, concerns and talents via television with the Princeton area. Its programming produced by and for the people.


How Can I View Princeton TV?

Princeton Community TV can be viewed on cable Channel 30 throughout Princeton Township and Princeton Borough on the Comcast cable system and on Channel 45 of Verizon’s FiOS system. Princeton TV can be viewed online and is now available on Roku. You can find Princeton TV on the PegTV Channel.


Princeton TV also archives its programming to be viewed online. Visit our online library to watch PCTV anywhere with internet access.


What Services Are Available?

PCTV offers field equipment for borrowing, a full production TV studio and has Final Cut Pro editing facilities. PCTV offers instructions on the care and use of the equipment. Members in good standing of PCTV are entitled to the use of equipment and to make programming for broadcast.  Visit our services page for more information.


How Can I produce a program?

If you are interested in producing a program call us at 609-252-1963 to find out how. Please visit our Policies and Procedures page as a first step.


Do I need experience?

No experience required. PCTV‘s mission is to teach residents how to produce their own programs. Workshops are taught in studio production, field production as well editing and other digital media skills.


What types of programs are on PCTV?

All types of television can be seen on PCTV. Programming includes: documentaries, news & information, health, commentary, community & local programs, educational, youth, performance, arts & culture, religious, movies, politics, experimental TV literature & poetry, independent films, entertainment and much more.


If I don’t live in the area can I submit a program for consideration?

PrincetonTV is always looking for quality programs to air. We are looking for documentaries, films, music programs and series shows. Send a DVD of your program to us.


How do I get involved?

There are several ways to get involved and/or volunteer.  No experience is required. PCTV‘s mission is to teach residents how to produce their own programs. Workshops are taught in studio production, field production as well editing and other digital media skills. Call the station at 609-252-1963 to arrange an initial visit.  Our staff will show you the facilities, discuss your goals, determine your needs.
